On flat level ground, my ball striking has improved. Having problems with ball above feet, below feet , downhill and uphill lies. Any suggestions??

The same adjustments for these lies in a "conventional swing" apply to MGS. For downhill lies, play the ball back a bit more in your stance, and take at least one club more loft...so if you normally hit a 7 iron, take the 8 iron. opposite for uphill lies. The main thing with these lies is that your shoulders should align roughly with the incline of the slope - then make your normal MGS set and twist, and swing.

For balls above and below your feet the main adjustment is aim/set up - ball above your feet will have a tendency to have the ball go left and/or hook. Adjust your club face and stance line accordingly. Ball below your feet, is in my opinion the hardest lie in golf. The ball will go right and /or slice, so aim left and adjust your clubface. You must counter balance the effect of the slope and must really "stay over the ball and resist the temptation to raise up - which the slope and such will naturally make you do. For this reason, you want to make a controlled and steady swing, and taking one or two more clubs and swinging smoothly and staying in posture are critical.

If you do not have a set of birdie balls, I strongly recommend these. You can practice anywhere that you have 40 yards or so of room. You can then find a park with a hill, or even an area that has a drainage ditch, and practice these lies over and over.....becaue the birdie ball gives true flight replication, just on a smaller scale, you will easily figure out the adjustments that work for you.
