Post Compressing the ball

I have been very happy with my MGS swing and scoring better then ever. I shot an 83 and could have done better if I did not misread breaks while putting. This cost me about 5 or 6 strokes. I do feel that I have lost some distance with my MGS with all clubs except my driver. With my MGS swing I have improved my accuracy and if I do have a mishit it is still playable and not as bad as before. I just got back from the practice range where I was hitting accurate consistent shots and noticed I was not really taking a divot. I decided to make the effort to take a divot even though I did not want alter my swing mechanically in any way. I was now hitting the ball straighter and with greater distance then before. Anybody else experience this.

What, Moetion tinkering a bit with his simple MGS? ( hehehe Moetion just joshing ). MGS shallows out the angle of attack a lot so that you take less divot than normal. I can even hit shots off the blacktop and made a video to prove it. If you recall late in his career, Moe Norman took barely any divot at all.

But to answer your question, I have tinkered with the Hogan bowed wrist at impact idea some in an attempt to change ( lower ) my trajectory to hit a stinger like shot and I get more of a crack, distance and of course lower trajectory. I just try to bow my wrist as my hands drop and I have hit some real nice shots. Can't repeat it yet so I stay away from it on the course. You may want to try my Divot Master drill and see if you can do that....except don't do the holding the angle thing....just use the ball station set up and your MGS set up and swing.
